Serefina Mesa
Founder/Executive Director

 

Sara MesaSerefina Mesa is a successful management professional with over 13 years in the field and a reputation for unparalleled project management, administrative, and event planning skills. Prior to starting ProAdvantage, she held various positions around the country including several large international companies such as Bank of America, American Red Cross, and Pacific Institute.

She brings years of professional experience and knowledge to ProAdvantage including extensive experience providing support to top level executives such as CEOs, Vice Presidents, and Directors as well as maintaining working relationships with high profile humanitarian organizations and federal and local government officials.

Serefina has established a reputation over the years as an expert in the field of project management and organization. These skills have been put to the ultimate test as she successfully planned and organized over a dozen events across the United States including press conferences, fund raising benefits and dinners, and national conferences hosting up to 2,000 attendees.

Sam Salazar-Baja
Web Designer/Graphic Artist

 

Sam Salazar-Baja has over 15 years relevant design experience for web and print. Before embarking full-time in freelance designing, she has worked as a web and graphics designer for various companies, working her way up from staff designer positions to supervising entire art departments. Her work experiences have earned her the reputation of being a talented, sensible, resourceful and strict designer, who strives to deliver before deadlines, to give room for improvements.

Her skills range from conceptual layouts to full realization and integration with preference to using Adobe products and services. As an IT person, her skills as a programmer add a rare value to the mix. She is proficient with HTML, CSS, DHTML, XML, PHP, ASP and JAVA, to name a few. She has also dabbled into flash animation, but chose not to pursue it as a full-time specialty, as based on experience, animation and web development lead to completety different paths, and being a practical person, she preferred to focus more on what the industry demands, which is standard web and print design development. Currently, she is studying to become more proficient in wordpress customization.

Angel Mesa
Researcher/Data Entry Specialist

 

Angel Mesa has been working as a Research and Data Entry Consultant with ProAdvantage since May 2007. She has over 10 years experience in research and administrative support and has held positions with several reputable organizations including San Diego State University, Price Waterhouse Coopers, and UC Davis Medical Center.

Angel attended San Diego State University for four years before transferring to California State University Sacramento (CSUS) where she graduated with B.A. in Child Development and a Minor in English. While at CSUS Angel worked as a research assistant and was responsible for coding documentation obtained from years of research and compiling data for the Professor’s research projects. 

Angel has spent the last six years with UC Davis Medical Center in an administrative capacity where her expertise in patient care and customer service is vital to her position. Her responsibilities also include processing and maintaining several databases, and creating training manuals and documentation for various areas around the UC Davis Specialty Clinic.

John Riddle
Ghost Writer/Author

 

John Riddle is a freelance writer and author from Bear, Delaware. His byline has appeared in major newspapers, magazines, Web sites and trade journals all across the country. He is the author of 34 books and has worked as a ghostwriter on numerous projects. John is also the Founder of I Love To Write Day, a grassroots campaign he launched in 2002 to have people of all ages practice writing every November 15. Last year over 20,000 schools all across the United States held special I Love To Write Day events and activities. He is a frequent speaker at both Christian and secular writing conferences, and recently appeared at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. You can learn more about John by visiting www.ilovetowriteday.org.

Tina Balajadia
Writer/Legal Specialist

 

Tina is an attorney who is currently a partner in a law firm she shares with her sisters. Prior to joining the law firm she had worked with a BPO as a legal editor, researcher, and eventually, content manager.

Tina is a talented writer and editor with almost 10 years of research and writing experience under her belt. Her excellent command of English and the practice she has had as a researcher have given her an advantage in her work, both as a freelance writer and attorney.

While being an attorney is a career that has its rewards, Tina finds it more fulfilling to weave words for non-legal endeavors.

Tiffany Feliciano
Administrative Assistant/Researcher

 

Tiffany Feliciano has an impressive background in Research and administrative support. She recently graduated with a B.S. in Business with Finance specialization from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. With her strong educational background, she has extensive experience conducting research projects and strong writing abilities. She has a number of years in the customer service field and possesses strong communication skills.

Tiffany has held positions with Bank of America as a Mortgage Information Associate and Primerica as a Mortgage and Life Insurance Analyst. Currently Tiffany resides in Norfolk, Virginia where she is pursuing her Masters degree in Human Services.
